How it works...
McLeod's Mega Roll measures 2 1/2 feet by 100
feet totaling 250 square feet or almost 28 yards per roll!
Each roll weights approximately 400 pounds depending on conditions.
We provide the laying device at no extra cost, so the only thing
required by you is a tractor with a 3-point hitch. The average number
of rolls on a truck is between 15 and 60. The sod is placed on tubes
then loaded onto the truck with a cone shaped forklift attachment.
Harvesting the Mega Roll takes slightly longer
than our standard roll, so a weeks notice is
required. Installation is easy as 1-2-3.. When the sod arrives at
your jobsite, simply hook the roll to the laying device and unroll.
It's that simple! One person to drive the tractor and one person to
align the sod. AWESOME!!!
Please Note that as with our pallets, there is also a
$10 deposit required on the tubes.
