Placing an Order
After your work area is prepared for sod, it's time to place an order. To figure the amount of sod you'll need, you
will need to take the length of the area multiplied by the width of the
area.
Example: 20 Feet long x 46 Feet wide = 920 Feet

Sod is sold by the square foot. Each roll measures 2 Ft x
5 Ft., and weights approximately 25 pounds, depending on weather
conditions.

The minimum order for sod is 10 Square Feet = 1 roll.
Next, you'll need to call the office. For Customer Pick-up
orders, 24 hour notice is needed for harvesting. If you're planning on
having your sod delivered, a weeks notice is always a good idea due to our
trucking schedules. Remember- McLeod's Sod Farm delivers state-wide with no
additional charge for forklift delivery! The minimum order for delivery is
350 rolls / 3500 Sq. Ft.
